Dr. Marcia Lembo, DVM
Veterinarian
Passionate about animals since I was little, I decided to be a veterinarian at the age of 5. I grew up going every weekend to my grandfather’s dairy farm and horses and cats have always been my passion. I graduated in 2000 from the University of S=E3o Paulo, which is ranked among the best 50 in the world, I did a master’s degree in surgery and specialized in feline medicine. Married for 20 years, I am the mother of a 9-year-old girl and 4 cats. I love going to the movies and doing jigsaw puzzles and when I can I like to take long walks on horseback. Moving to Canada has always been a dream and I have lived here for 3 years with my whole family.

Megan Francis
Clinic Manager
Megan grew up in White City, Saskatchewan, and was a horse nut from a young age. At the age of 14, Megan and her mom attended a horse sale while her dad was working a night shift, and they purchased a horse. This purchase led to many more horses and Megan began breeding horses shortly thereafter. After high school, she attended University for a short while in the Pre-vet program but decided she wanted to be working with animals immediately, so she instead attended Lakeland College and completed the Horsemanship course. Megan now breeds multiple foals a year and has competed in the US and Canada with horses she has raised, winning several National Championships. Megan also has owned many types of livestock, including sheep, cattle, pigs, chickens, rabbits, turkeys, and even a llama. Megan lives 2 miles from Sherwood Animal clinic near Pilot Butte, Saskatchewan with her 2 kids, Emmet and Susie, her father Pat, her “husbun” Bob, a mini Rex Rabbit, and Bella, a Lionhead cross.
